Hi there! My name's Katy and I'm looking to recommend someone for a 12 month lease for a 711sq ft, 1 bedroom in South Austin. Rent is $846 and includes the following amenities: full washer/dryer, walk in closet, 9 foot ceilings, central air, dishwasher, garbage disposal, gourmet kitchen, microwave, private entrances (much like having your own townhome!), and track lighting. This apartment complex also has its own dog park, swimming pool, hot tub, DVD rentals, 24-hour emergency maintenance, gated entrance, community wifi/community business center, outdoor grilling area, a beautiful clubhouse with a fitness room, access to a kitchen which is always stocked with goodies, and a helpful, friendly staff. Many of the people that live here are college students or young professionals, so it's perfect for someone that's just starting out in the adult world. :) There's also plenty of restaurants, H.E.B, Walmart, Target and a cineplex within a mile, so there's lots to do without venturing out too far! Downtown Austin is a 10 minute drive away.

Basically, I'm looking for someone to sign their own 12 month lease and move into my apartment. This does not mean you will be taking over *my* lease -- you will have your own. I unfortunately need to leave Austin because I've found a better paying job in another city, but I need to recommend someone to do it! Help a girl out, yeah? :) If you'd like more information or pictures of my apartment, please don't hesitate to ask. If you could pass this along to anyone you know that's looking for an apartment, I'd really appreciate it.

$375 Room in 2-bedroom townhouse apt open in central / north Austin (I-35 between Rundberg & 183) [Nov. 28th, 2010|07:22 pm]

Hiyo! There's an opening for a roommate for an apt. in North Austin. This two-story flat is off of the I-35 feeder road in between Rundberg and Hwy. 183; this makes it one exit away from Hwy. 290 and RR 2222. There's also a short walk to the 10 bus line at Georgian and Deen (also bike route 47) as well as to North Lamar and the North Lamar Bus Transit Center.

You have a huge master bedroom with a private bathroom and not one but *two* walk-in closets. There's a covered porch downstairs and washer/dryer connections, and one of the laundry rooms in the complex is in the next building over.

There's no furniture downstairs for the living room or dining room, so feel free to bring your own!

The other roommate is female with a pre-teenage son that comes over on the weekends, but he spends his time hanging in the room playing video games. She is poly, LGBT, and nudist friendly and hopes that you are, too! Wearing clothes around the flat is no problem, though.

There are two cats here. Another cat is fine, but the apt. management requires a $350 deposit for each pet (half refundable). No dogs, please.

Smoking is fine as long as you smoke outdoors.

The new roommate is responsible for half of the bills which comes to around $500 to $550 monthly (half of rent is $375 plus utilities, Internet, etc.). The current roommate will move out at the middle or end of December, but if you would like to move in earlier than that then we can certainly figure something out.

Apartment near Parmer Ln. and 620 [Jun. 12th, 2010|12:30 am]

I have to move out of this wonderful apartment due to loss of job.

It is a great 3rd floor apartment 788 sq ft of living space, an additional 25 sq ft storage closet (just outside the apartment), 186 sq ft balcony, vaulted ceilings, almost new carpets (you can hardly tell anyone has lived there for 2 years), and a carport included in the rent. The rent is $699 a month starting July 1st, the rest of June is already paid. I am moving out June 19th, the apartment will be completely ready to move into on June 20th. This will be a lease takeover, you will be the only person on the lease, because of this you do have to fill out an application and go through the process with the complex. After you have been approved we both sign agreements saying you are taking over the lease and I am not responsible for anything that may happen to the apartment there after. The application fee is $40, which I will pay you in cash when you are approved and we have signed the papers for you to take over the lease. The last rent payment will be on Sept. 1st after that you can do what you wish, sign a new lease or move on from the apartment. All of my deposits will automatically transfer over to you, so there is no cost to you to take this apartment (again I will pay you the $40 application fee, but you will have to pay it upfront). I do have a pet, so if you have furry family of your own there will not be a deposit for the first one, there maybe an additional deposit for a second pet, I can get that information from the complex if you ask me to.

The beginning date of the lease is FLEXIBLE. This will be a legal sublet which means you will have to apply through the Riata Leasing Office and get approved first. (You will have to mention our name and apartment #.)

The lease will be transferred into your name and we will also transfer our deposit to you. We paid both a regular deposit and a pet deposit (cat). So if you have a cat you won’t have to pay the deposit. Also once you’ve applied, been approved, and the lease is transferred into your name, we will pay you back the application fee.
